What is MyCityMyTown?
MyCityMyTown is an effort to get people like you to share
their knowledge of local events and news with others in your area. Most information about a local area
is known by those that live there. If you know of an event that is coming
up then you can help others in your area know about it as well.
MyCityMyTown also tries to bring neighborhoods and city communities closer together
through the use of technology. MyCityMyTown started as a way for a few people
that lived in a neighborhood to stay in contact with one another, and has developed
into an idea that everyone can use. MyCityMyTown is a work in progress and
it is continually being updated with new features and functions. Membership
is not required to use MyCityMyTown, however, membership allows the website to grow.
The MyCityMyTown staff and volunteers have vision that the website will be an integral
part of communites, where people share idea and stories.
